Leipziger Messe's own trade fairs

denkmal Russia-Moscow (Moscow, every two years)

The denkmal Russia-Moscow trade fair is based on the successful concept of the Leipzig denkmal, Europe's leading trade fair for monument restoration and conservation. The event has been organised by Leipziger Messe International since 2011. Adapted for the Russian market, this exhibition for the restoration industry has seen an increase in the number of exhibitors and trade visitors ever since it was launched. Around 20 per cent of exhibitors come from Germany.

HPI - Heritage Preservation International

HPI - Heritage Preservation International has been held in cooperation with our Chinese partner Shanghai Jianwei Cultural Heritage Conservation Tech. since 2017. HPI covers the monument preservation and museum technology sectors and the restoration and renovation of buildings and structures as well as art and cultural artefacts. HPI's steady growth reflects the growing demand for innovative technologies and international expertise in the field of heritage preservation and museums. In 2019, LMI also organised a German collective stand here for the first time on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

RFPO Russian Forum on Prosthetics & Orthotics (Moscow, every two years)

LMI has organised the Russian Forum on Prosthetics & Orthotics (RFPO) in Moscow since 2017. RFPO is the only platform in Russia that brings together all stakeholders in the prosthetics and orthotics market and LMI has thus established Russia's largest training platform for orthopaedic technicians, orthopaedics and therapists. In 2019, LMI also organised a German collective stand here for the first time on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

China Beauty Expo

Serving as a cooperating partner for German companies, we began working in 2018 with the China Beauty Expo (CBE) in Shanghai (PRC), one of the largest and most important beauty trade fairs in Asia. We have been organising a German presence for the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) at the CBE since 2013. This industry get-together is an integral part of the trade fair calendar for the years ahead.

Collective stands for federal ministries (German federal participation)

Every year, LMI organises about 50 collective stands all around the world for a variety of partners. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action alone participates in over 30 events per year, as does the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Various German states including Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and Saxony also rely on our expertise. The range of industries covered is as varied as the numerous international exhibition centres. Here are a few selected examples:

Collective stands for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action

FIHAV (Havanna, Cuba, annually)

LMI has been responsible for organising the German collective stand at FIHAV in Havana for over 20 years. The multi-industry trade fair has around 150,000 visitors each year and is by far the most important trade fair in Cuba. Despite the country's challenges, there is always a high demand for the German Pavilion among German participants. At times, more than 50 companies have exhibited here.

BIO International (various convention centres, USA, annually)

Almost every year for the last 23 years, LMI has organised the German collective stand at BIO International which takes place at a different convention centre in the USA each year. The biotechnology trade fair has been a part of LMI's business from the start and last year we served more than 50 companies at the German Pavilion.

ADIBF Book Fair (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates)

LMI has now been responsible for the German collective stand at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair for several years in a row. In 2022, LMI worked closely with the Frankfurt Book Fair to manage Germany's presence as the event's Host Country – a complete success. Our years of experience with international book fairs were a particular advantage here. In the past few years, we have regularly organised stands at book fairs such as the FIL in Mexico, the BIBF in Beijing and the International Istanbul Book Fair.

DenTech China (Shanghai, China)

We have been organising the German collective stand at DenTech in China for nearly ten years and at times working with more than 50 exhibitors. The oldest and second-largest dental medicine trade fair is just one of the industry's numerous events worldwide for which LMI organises German collective stands. Besides DenTech, we have five additional German Pavilions planned at dental medicine trade fairs in 2023 in locations such as Brazil, South Africa and the USA.

Collective stands for the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture

Agritech (Chisama, Zambia)

The largest agricultural exhibition in Zambia takes place every year in a freshly-cleared maize field. The event poses particular organisational challenges since it requires providing an entire infrastructure for the German exhibitors from stand construction with a tent and catering to electricity and internet connections. We have been responsible for the successful execution of this unique German collective stand since 2016 and will again be accompanying 18 companies to the event in 2023.

Collective state stands (German state participation)

JEC World (Paris, France)

For many years, the Saxony Economic Development Corporation has contracted with LMI to manage Saxony's presence at the JEC in Paris. Since 2019, we have also been responsible for the collective stand for the State of Hesse.

Bologna Children’s Book Fair (Bologna, Italy)

LMI has been responsible for managing Bavaria's presence at Italy's largest children's book fair every year since 2017. Due to its successful kickoff in the first year, the following year included a tour for Bavarian illustrators which was added to the programme alongside the company presentations. LMI has additionally been responsible for organising the illustrators' tour since then.

Semicon West (San Francisco, USA, annually)

Founded in 1971 and now the world's most important trade fair for the semiconductor industry, Semicon West focuses on key trends and issues in microelectronics and photovoltaics. Since 2006, LMI has been responsible for the collective stand of the Free State of Saxony which often includes over 20 companies.
